That is the nutrition line on its own, ₹2,500 across a full year. The all-in cost of keeping one child in a programme is ₹2,700 a year, because ₹200 of transport and administration sits on top of the food itself.
Why two numbers.
₹208 a month is nutrition only, ₹2,500 a year divided by twelve and rounded down from ₹208.33, and it is exactly what monthly sponsorship charges. ₹2,700 a year is the all-in cost above. Donors ask both questions, what the food costs and what the programme costs, so we publish both rather than average them into a number that answers neither.

MUAC tracking
Mid-upper-arm-circumference is measured for every child, giving an early, reliable read on acute malnutrition and recovery.
Growth monitoring
Weight and height are recorded over time so we can see real, sustained progress against healthy baselines, not one-off snapshots.

We maintain transparent financial records and publish impact reports, because accountability is one of our non-negotiables.

Zoro Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit registered in India. Our registrations are in place and our records are open. Donations are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G.
