Zoro Foundation (“Zoro Foundation”, “we”, “us”) exists to fight malnourishment across rural India. We treat the trust you place in us, and the information you share, with the same care we bring to our work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
01 What we collect
We only collect what we need:
Information you give us, your name, email, phone, organisation, or message when you contact us, volunteer, or partner with us.
Donation details, when you donate, payment is processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We receive confirmation of your contribution (amount, the email and phone used at checkout, and payment reference) and record it in the Foundation’s private donation ledger, but we never see or store your full card or banking credentials.
80G receipt details, if you request a tax receipt we collect the name for the receipt, your PAN, and optionally your address, solely to issue the receipt and maintain the statutory records the law requires of us.
Basic usage data, anonymous, aggregate information about traffic, page and section views, donation-funnel stages, form outcomes, outbound clicks, engagement and page performance, which helps us improve the site.
We measure that usage with Google Analytics 4 in cookieless consent mode. Analytics storage, advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalisation are denied. We never send names, email addresses, phone numbers, PAN, form answers, payment references or donation-receipt details to Google Analytics. Google may process basic device, browser and approximate-region signals when receiving an event, but Zoro Foundation does not give Google a persistent analytics identifier for this site. The site does not run advertising or retargeting trackers and continues to work if analytics is blocked.
02 How we use it
To respond to you, and to build genuine partnerships and volunteering relationships.
To process donations, send you your donation confirmations and receipts from zoro.foundation@tutamail.com, and meet our reporting and compliance obligations, including 80G requirements.
To share occasional updates about our programs, only if you have asked us to.
03 What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We never exploit stories or data of the communities we serve for fundraising. Dignity first is one of our non-negotiables, and it extends to your privacy too.
04 Who we share it with
We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as Razorpay for payments, and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information where required by law.
05 How we protect it
Donations are handled over encrypted, secure connections. We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above and apply reasonable safeguards against loss or misuse.
06 Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Just write to zoro.foundation@tutamail.com and we will take care of it.
