About Zoro Foundation
A community-driven foundation working alongside practitioners and communities to design and deliver change that endures.
We focus on fewer initiatives, commit deeply, and build systems that endure.
We are building Zoro Foundation as a community-driven foundation that works alongside practitioners, local organisations, and contributors to design and deliver interventions that are structured, accountable, and grounded in real-world conditions.
Every program emerges from deep collaboration, not prescription. We believe in long-term orientation over short-term visibility, creating change that endures well beyond our direct involvement.

A note from the two of us.
We started Zoro Foundation because the problem in front of us was specific, and so was the fix. In the villages around Roha, a child is rarely malnourished because nobody cares. A child there is one bad month away from it, and a month of food costs less than a dinner in Mumbai.
So we chose to do one thing and account for it child by child: keep children fed, measure whether it worked, and publish the number whether it flatters us or not. We would rather run two programmes we can stand behind than announce ten we cannot.
If you give, you will hear from us: what changed, what it cost, and what we got wrong. That is the whole promise.

Our non-negotiables.
Four commitments shape every programme we run, from the first conversation to the systems we leave behind.
Dignity first
Respect over narratives. We never exploit stories of hardship for fundraising. Communities are partners with agency, not subjects to be saved.
Collaboration over charity
Every programme is co-designed with the communities who know their needs best. We facilitate, they lead, and the work reflects local priorities and existing strengths.
Fewer things, done deeply
Depth over visibility. We resist spreading thin, commit to a small number of places, and stay long enough to build systems that keep working without us.
Measured and accountable
Every rupee tracked, every outcome measured. We publish what we spend and keep open records, because trust is earned through transparency.
Registered, compliant, and on record.
Zoro Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit registered in India, with 80G, 12A and CSR-1 registrations in place and records open on request. Every registration number is published on where your money goes, and companies can open the CSR readiness pack.
